Wigwam Holidays Montrave Estate | Review

 
In July we went to a friends wedding at Pratis Barns in Fife - a lovely venue between Cupar and Leven. One of the recommended places to stay nearby was Wigwam Holidays Montrave Estate and it sounded perfect for us so we booked our two night stay. 

It was difficult to know how big it would be inside from the photos but when we arrived at our wigwam I was surprised how spacious it felt for glamping. Our pod was a basic one with a double bed, shower room and kitchenette. It was stocked with all the kitchenware we would need for two nights plus a kettle, toaster, two ring hob and fridge.  

Instead of paying extra for a bedding set we opted to take our own bedding, pillows and towels for the stay. This was a great choice because nothing beats your own pillow. Another plus side to this would be if we stayed with our dog we wouldn't be worried about him dirtying other peoples duvet. Both nights we slept soundly in the bed.

One thing I was especially happy about was the bathroom was spacious with a really good shower. Something we needed to get properly dressed up for a wedding the next day. Even the plugs in the kitchen we're close enough that I could do my hair in the bathroom mirror. 

On the night we stayed at the wigwam we collected a takeaway to eat with a friend who visited (which ended up being inside due to rain but there was plenty space) before lighting the fire pit and enjoying a cider into the evening. It was perfect!

If your going to a wedding at Pratis Barns I'd 100% recommend Wigwam Holidays at Montrave Estate. We didn't get time to explore the local area but I'm sure Brodie would love it too so we might be back soon.
