I always get stupidly excited about my birthday and I worked hard on Monday and Tuesday so I could properly enjoy it. When I left the library on Tuesday evening we ordered pizza so the celebrations could begin. Then on Wednesday afternoon, after my lectures, I went into town to do a little shopping then met my parents and Scott for dinner at Zizzi. It was a pretty chilled birthday but exactly what I needed.
Then on Thursday we were off to see Hairspray - the tickets were a Christmas present from my flatmate and we had the best time! We met up with some of her family and went to Pizza Express before which was nice. Hairspray itself was amazing and we had such a good time. I'm now wishing I had enough money to go and see 'Crazy for You' next week.
The rest of my week has been pretty chilled and I've worked hard at uni. I enjoyed having the flat to myself on Friday night and watching a film. After the library on Saturday I went to meet my flatmate in town and we had lunch at the new Prezzo (because we couldn't get into All Bar One). It was really good though and the restaurant is lovely when the sun was shinning.
I decided to go back into town on Sunday to try and spend my Boux Avenue voucher. I didn't manage but the sun was shinning so it was a lovely walk. Tonight my flatmates dad is also coming through so we are going to pop out to the local pub for tea and maybe the quiz too.
