Now we are well into August I'm starting to think about going back to university and of course my student flat. I'm always trying to add to my bedroom to make it brighter and more homely. I definitely want to share a 'Bedroom Tour' before Christmas so I'll have to get on with the finishing touches.
My bedroom walls are white so I like lots of colour. Mostly I shop in Ikea and Primark for homeware things, I'm always loving things from Flying Tiger but there isn't one in Aberdeen to pop in regularly. Lastly I'm always admiring things from Oliver Bonas and Anthropology but they are a little out of my student budget.

I regret not buying these cute little cacti when in Ikea a few weeks ago. Nothing like bringing nature inside to brighten up the flat on dull days. I already have one cactus so it would be nice to have a collection.
These cloud shelves would be a really fun touch to my walls. I like something a little bit quirky and these would be practical too.

All the Oliver Bonas dishes are so pretty I struggled to pick just one for this post. Mostly I want these so they look good in blog and Instagram posts. Is that sad?
I'm clearly going through a cactus phase at the moment. This is a slight cheat because I already bought these glasses - how could I resist.

I swear these shelves didn't catch my eye because of the cacti... I spotted them on Flying Tiger's instagram and REALLY want them. Going to pop into the store on Saturday, hope they have them and they aren't too expensive.
I wish I had the money for everything in this wishlist but I'm going to have to be really choosy over the next few months. Being a student (and student finance) really sucks sometimes - this year more than most.
Are you off to uni this year? I shared all the kitchen basics I took with me here. Hopefully you find it useful when creating your lists.
