Since my last little lifestyle update was in September just before I moved to Aberdeen for my first year at university is seems only fitting I do one now that my academic year has come to an end. What a nine months it has been - I moved into a flat with 4 other girls I'd never met before (terrifying) and somehow they have become some of my best friends. I could not have wished for better people to live with - not just that but I've made some really good friends at university too, gone on many great nights out, girly nights in and made the most of living away from home.
Now I'm back at my family home in the Angus countryside - I am more than happy to be spending the summer here after all it is beautiful and will always be home to me. On the 1st of July I get the keys for our new flat in Aberdeen with my ex-flatmate and blogging friend Eilidh. Although I won't be staying there full time until term starts again in September it will be great to have the option of somewhere to stay if we fancy a night out in the city over the summer.
Scott and I have now been together almost 14 months and it has just zoomed past. He is my rock and I know I couldn't have moved away from home without his support - he can always pull me back when I'm feeling down. Now I'm with him though those days are getting less and less - I'm just a much happier person.
We are going on our first summer holiday together in 26 days when we fly to Tenerife. Last week he also insured me to drive his car (a huge deal I think) as a learner until September so no excuse now... Our only aim is to make this summer better than last which was amazing enough.
So that is where my life is standing at the moment. I was thinking about including a summer bucket list in this post but I think I'll leave it until another day because it has gotten very long already. I am a completely different person from the girl who started G is for Gingers way back in January 2013 however I'm still excited to be documenting my journey with you.
Thank you all for your continuing support.
