When picking the boots I thought that a lighter pair would be easier to wear with my spring wardrobe. This pair with the fringing jumped out straight away because the reminded me of cowboy boots. I thought both their length and style would be quite easy to style with skirts and dresses.
You might remember the last time I wore this skirt back in February (see the post here) - subsequently I decided that it wasn't right with tights and knitwear. Although I do try to wear my summer clothes as many seasons as possible I knew I had to leave this skirt until spring.
Overall I think the white top, floral skirt and ankle boots make a great casual summer's day outfit. I can't wait to style these boots in a different way - I'm thinking they would look good with a pair of light coloured skinny jeans. The last thing I would say about these boots is they are quite big on me so maybe if you're between sizes get the smaller pair.
Yesterday was really warm and sunny so after taking these photos I met my boyfriend after his work and we went for a walk to the lighthouse. In hindsight wearing this lightweight skirt when it was windy was a bit of a mistake... oops!
I am trying to clear some room in my wardrobe before going on holiday so I'd love it if you checked out my blog sale. Everything is under £10 and I'm happy for you to make me an offer.
