If you've stumbled across this post post or followed a link from another post I want you know that this post was one of my original posts in 2013. The photography was shocking (I tweeted about it here) and I decided to refresh it so I could share it more over pancake day. In the eight years since it was published it's still my go to crepe recipe for a weekend morning.
To make roughly 5 large pancakes you will need:
125g of plain flour
1 egg
300ml of milk
Salt
Sift the flour and salt into a large bowl. Beat in the egg and then the milk gradually until it forms a consistence of single cream. Then leave it to sit for 30 minutes.
Using a ladle fill the bottom on a non-stick pan with a thin layer of batter and cook them in a non-stick pan and then flip!
My favourite topping is lemon and sugar.
Made pancakes yesterday! They were amazing, my family aren't normally so well planned for these sort of days. There has been lots of snow today but it's supposed to rain it all away during the night. I am going to my aunties tomorrow in Perth so there will be lots of shopping and relaxing! Cannot wait!!! I'm sure there will be lots of outfit posts and new purchases.
